Ezekiel Calabia

Ezekiel Calabia is a Solution Architect with New Signature and has extensive experience in delivering large-scale on-premises and cloud Infrastructure Microsoft solutions in the public and private sector. He specializes in architecting solutions for Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, as well as Exchange, Skype for Business and Office 365. Ezekiel is an active member of the IT community and also co-hosts the Toronto Microsoft Unified Communications User Group in Toronto with Dmitry Bogopolskiy. Ezekiel’s goal at TAG is to share his field knowledge on Azure implementations as well as product updates and roadmap.

David Christensen

David is a twenty year IT veteran who has helped a variety of enterprises achieve strategic advantage by identifying and deploying emerging technologies on the cusp of becoming mainstream.
He is an innovator, thought leader and an accomplished speaker, who stands at the forefront of fast moving technologies and industry trends that are changing the way we work and live.

David has moved through support, development and architecture roles, successfully completing engagements for clients in industries including: sports entertainment, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, retail, telecommunications, transportation, and the public sector.
Currently he’s embracing transformative DevOps and Cloud technologies while looking out for the next big thing.
David is also involved in the Microsoft Azure Advisors Program.

John CzernuszkaJohn Czernuszka

John is the Head of Product Management and Development at New Signature. With more than 25 years of experience working at Microsoft, IBM and in the enterprise IT organizations of RBC and TD Bank, John has managed many transformational projects related to systems and network integration, infrastructure services and cloud computing. At New Signature, John is responsible for developing the Cloud Management Portal for Microsoft’s Azure platform.

Before joining New Signature, John was Program Director for TD’s Managed Print initiative and Lead Architect within RBC’s infrastructure architecture and engineering group. He also spent eleven years as a Principal Enterprise Strategy Consultant within Microsoft Consulting Services. His insights driving both business and technical aspects of IT strategy and implementation, including IaaS and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, help New Signature take a customer-centric approach to its development roadmap.
John received the Circle of Excellence award from Microsoft’s former CEO Steve Ballmer and the Royal Bank Executive VP Commendation from RBC’s CIO Marty Lippert. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Waterloo.

Matt Garrett

Matt is an accomplished Azure Architect with over seven years of experience. Matt has experience across the board in terms of Infrastructure solutions, but now specializes in Azure, designing and implementing high performing and scalable solutions. In his recent projects, Matt has architected and implemented cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure AD, MFA, IaaS, PaaS, virtual networking and Azure Resource Manager. Matt’s biggest passion right now is automation. Using the latest and greatest DevOps process and technologies, Matt is continually pushing to deliver higher quality environments faster and more efficiently.

Outside of technology, Matt has had experience in general management, overseeing sales, and operations. He has a good understanding of core business mechanics, which greatly assists with understanding a client’s needs.
